Peru has been getting quite the reputation in the coffee community lately, likely due to the incomparable taste of its brew. There are two things that contribute to that: One, is how it’s grown – since 1700 AD responsive, quality-focused farmers have been growing the beans organically using a technique that has been passed down from generation to generation. Two, modern technology has not yet meddled with any of the 110, 000 coffee farms in Peru. Great news for us single-origin lovers.
